New Parenting Series

For three weeks we're consentrating our Sunday morning messages on parenting. We're using Dr. Rob Rienow's book, "Visionary Parenting" as a tool and of course God's Word for ultimate direction.
The series is called, "Bring It Home".Last week Chuck Taylor, one of Encounters elders, started us off with a message titled, "It Starts With You". He took us all the way back to Deuteronomy 6:5-7 and God's command to Moses that the people should love the Lord their God and instruct their children about Him as well.
This week being Mother's Day, we'll speak to parents about how practically their parenting should look on a daily basis. With both kids and parents being selfish by nature, our talk will lead us to depending the Holy Spirit to guide, strengthen, and empower us to be godly (not perfect) parents.
